UMPIRING RULES
1. All managers are responsible for the umpiring duties as indicated on the attached chart. Failure to show up or provide a substitute will result in a one game, off the premises, suspension. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!
2. If a manager elects to switch with another manager or utilize an approved substitute and said alternate manager or approved substitute does not show up, then the original manager will receive the suspension referenced above.
3. All scheduling conflicts are to be resolved by the individual manager. DO NOT ask Rich or Chuck to resolve your conflicts.
4. If a manager plans to utilize a substitute umpire that is not part of his coaching staff, then said substitute must be approved by the Commissioner or President a minimum of 24 hours PRIOR to the scheduled game start time.
5. It is the managers responsibility to assure that all of the umpires understand the rules of the game.
6. The intent of an umpire is to umpire the game and NOT be a factor in the outcome or score of the game. The umpire is NOT to attempt to control the score of a runaway game by revising the strike zone.
